On October 26, 1947, Jammu and Kashmir officially joined India when its ruler, Maharaja Hari Singh, signed the Instrument of Accession. At first, the head of the state was called the Prime Minister. However, on March 30, 1965, the title was changed to Chief Minister, making this person the main leader of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu Kashmir is situated in the north Indian states and is most popular for the tour and travel. The major business or earning source of Kashmir is the Tour Travel another is the winter shawl. There are many mountains, Lakes and hills covered with falling snow and many people are attracted due to this natural beauty. This is called the heaven on earth in India.
In terms of politics, this state was a very burning sensation and many politicians raised their voices against this state. Another side Pakistan always creates problems and tries to make the territory in this place. Govt of India has implemented the same rules in this state as in other states.
Many CMs of Kashmir have taken the oath and served many years in this state and everyone political wants to become the chief ministers of the Jammu Kashmir. But the election result of the 2024 October Congress party won the election with a good margin.
